Austin Scott Obituary

Austin Noah Scott, 15, departed this mortal world for his Heavenly Home on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
He was born in Burnsville, Minn. on July 11, 2003 to Robyn (Scott) Udenberg and James Davis.
Austin just finished his sophomore year at Lincoln High School in Lake City. He thrived on challenges, excelled in trap shooting and loved the outdoors and most especially the water. Austin was passionate about aviation, was a natural pilot, and quite the “foodie.”  His zest for life, quick-wit, curiosity and smile were absolutely infectious. He was a compassionate hard-working kid who loved to help others. Austin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his grandparents and their annual road trip adventures and farm time. Austin was gifted with a large heart and had a great love of God. His final gift was the gift of organ donation. Hopefully his effervescence will live on though others. Austin was a very special young man.
He is survived by his mother, Robyn (Pat) Udenberg of Lake City; father, James Davis of Vadnais Heights, Minn.; maternal grandparents, Robert and Velma Scott of Groveland, Fla., great-grandma, Betty Scott of Temple Terrace, Fla; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Davis of Fredericksburg, Va. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Davis; grandma, Barb Udenberg; and his beloved great-grandpop, Dr. Linus (Scotty) Scott.
A memorial service will be held at Valley View Assembly of God Church in Lake City, on Wednesday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Orin Sandberg officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson Peterson Chapel in Lake City.  Online condolences can be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
