Brent Hughley obituary

Brent William Hughley, 58, of Zumbro Falls, Minn., passed away at his home on May 21, 2023.
Brent was born in Wabasha, Minn. on June 8, 1964. He went to Lincoln High School in Lake City, Minn. Brent went into the Army to serve his country seven days after graduation. He did his basic training in Fort McClellan, Ala. Then he went to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas for the rest of his service. While at Fort Bliss,  Brent met the love of his life, Shelli Maynard. Brent and Shelli were united in marriage in Valrico, Fla. on November 9, 1985.
Brent worked at Powder Coating Solutions for 13 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, taking bus trips with friends and spending time with family.
Brent is survived by wife, Shelli; son, Jason (Crystal) Hughley; granddaughter, Hadley Marie Hughley; mother, Nancy Fawthorp; step mother, Terry Hughley; mother-in-law, Elizabeth (Micheal) Hess; brother, Todd (Monica) Hughley; sister Nicole (Brent) Rothgarn; nephew, Brennan Rothgarn; niece, Marah Rothgarn; sister-in-law, Sass (Mitch) Boles; brothers-in-law, Robert (Kristine) Watkins, Patrick (Tina) Maynard, Paul (Shannon) Maynard, Isreal Hess, Aaron (Victoria) Hess, Uria (Deborah) Hess; nephews, Michael (Jennifer) Boles, Mitchell (Aubree) Boles, Maxie Boles, Clayton, Carson Watkins, Connor Hess; nieces, Lillie, Mallorie, Emilie Maynard, Mackenna, Marin, Mya Maynard and Morgan Hess,
Brent was preceded in death by his father, William “Butch” Hughley; grandparents, Verne and Alice Dubbels of Zumbro Falls, Minn. and Dutch and Marie Hughley of Wabasha; father-in-law, Frederick (Ann) Maynard, both of Towanda, Penn. and brother-in-law, Christopher Watkins of Colo.
Celebration of life will be Saturday June 10, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Neptune Bar in Zumbro Falls, Minn.
