Dan Preble Obituary

Dan Preble, 52, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 in Lake City.
    He was born on Aug. 20, 1967 in Lake City to David and Ruth (Kautz) Preble. He grew up in Zumbro Falls and went to school in Lake City. Dan graduated from Lincoln High School in 1986.  Dan married his wife Kelly Guinn on May 27, 1995 in Lake City. He worked for Hearth and Home in Lake City and Kennedy Bus Service in Zumbro Falls. Dan was an active member of his community.  He was a member of the Zumbro Falls Fire Department and served as the chief. He loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, motocross and Ranger rides with his friends.
    He is survived by his wife, Kelly Preble; two daughters, Jena Kutina and Crissy (Lucas) Passe; four grandchildren, Carlie, Melissa, Parker and Ellie; and two sisters, Lisa Preble and Sara (Hailey, Miguel) Sanchez. He was preceded in death by his parents, an one infant sister and his brother, Dale Preble.
    Mass of the Resurrection will be 10 am. Monday, Oct. 14, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in West Albany with Fr. Matt Fasnacht officiating.  Burial will be at St. Clement’s Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.  Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City and for one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Lunch will be served at the VFW in Zumbro Falls following mass. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
