Daniel Dicke obituary

Daniel Mark Dicke, beloved husband and father, age 60 passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at his home.
He was born March 15, 1960 in Red Wing to Kermit and Angie (Klein) Dicke. On Oct. 6, 1984 he married Jean Balcome in Lake City.  Dan spent many years on the farm where he was very passionate and innovative. He was an exceptional herdsman, and was able to help increase the production of the farm. Music was something that Dan enjoyed, especially playing the trumpet with his boys. He loved spending time with his family, including going on vacations and cooking/baking with his kids and grandkids. He was kind and gentle man who always had fun with whatever he was doing.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Balcome-Dicke of Goodhue; children, Alex (Kristina) Dicke, Mitchell Dicke, and Liz (Joey Leonhardt) Dicke, all of Goodhue; grandchildren, Connor, McKenna, Grace, Ava, Mya, Kylah, Nate; mother, Angie of Goodhue; siblings, Deborah (Craig) Henslin, Lynette Dicke, and Mark (Leslie) Dicke; and 13 nieces and nephews.
