James White obituary

James Keith White, 73, of Lake City, Minn., died on Wednesday,  Sept. 16, 2020 at home surrounded by family.
James was born November 5, 1946 in Chula Vista, Calif. to James and Dorothy (Nichols) White. He graduated from Chula Vista High School in 1965. Proceeding graduation James joined the Forestry Service in SE California, The El Cariso Hot Shots. At age 18 he was drafted into the United States Army with orders to the Vietnam War. On March 12, 1988, he married Pamela Jean White at The Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. The couple lived in Frontenac, Minn. until 1995 when they moved to Lake City. James worked for himself as a home builder most of his working career, he also worked for Pepin Heights and for Hearth & Home Technologies for ten years.
James loved baseball, woodworking, fishing and collecting antiques while passing stories along to his children.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela White of Lake City, Minn.; kids, Wendy and Tony Morrow of Woodbury, Minn., Cody White of Lake City, Minn., Jacob and Karla White of Lake City, Minn., Brandy White and Colton Jenderny of Roberts, Wis.; one grandchild, Bailey Carpenter-White; and one granddaughter on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy White; and brother, Charles White.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday Sept. 23, 2020,  at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City with Father William Kulas presiding. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Frontenac Cemetery in Old Frontenac with full military honors by the VFW Post 8729 and American Legion Post 110.
