Kenneth Forgue Obituary

Kenneth O. Forgue Jr., 74, of Lake City, passed away on April 9, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Lake City Care Center.  
    Kenneth was born on Dec. 8, 1944 in Kankakee Ill., to Kenneth Forgue Sr. and Pauline (Kamp) Forgue.
    Kenneth grew up in the Fairchild, Wis. area. He joined the Army in 1962 and served for two years. After being discharged in 1964 he moved to the Eau Claire, Wis. area. Kenneth married Judy Peper on Aug. 19, 1967 in Goodhue. After Kenneth and Judy married they lived in Wisconsin until 1972 when they moved to Lake City. Kenneth worked at Federal-Mogul until 2001 when an injury caused him to retire. He was an avid golfer and bowler, and loved spending time with his family and friends.
    He is survived by his wife, Judy (Peper) Forgue of Lake City; two sons, Todd (Jenny George) Forgue of Lake City and Kenneth Forgue III of Honolulu, Hawaii; two grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel Forgue; two sisters, Jeannie (Keith) Browne of Austin, Texas and Teresa (Jim) Denton of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leroy and Joseph Forgue.
    A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, with Deacon Pat Evans officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Red Wing. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
