Lee Nibbe Obituary

Lee Roy Nibbe, 75, of Lake City, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Marys Campus  in Rochester.
    He was born Feb. 16, 1943 in Lake City to Roy and Mary (Anderson) Nibbe. He grew up in Lake City and graduated from Lincoln High School before attending Rochester Vocational Technical College for automotive repair. He worked for Federal-Mogul for many years before he retired. Lee was also a reserve officer for the Lake City Police Department and worked security for the marina. Lee loved camping at Sawbill Lake and traveling the North Shore. He also enjoyed spending time at The Galley with his friends and driving around time to keep an eye on things.
    He is survived by his son, Jason (Beth) Nibbe of Lake City; and one brother, Dale (Carol) Nibbe of Lake City. He was preceded in death by his parents and his “grand-furbaby,” Buddy.
    A Celebration of Life will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
