Lyle Bodin Obituary

Lyle Selmer Bodin of Lake City passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 at St. Crispin Living Community in Red Wing.  
    Lyle was born April 10, 1940 in Duluth to Arvid and Florence (Peterson) Bodin.  Lyle proudly served in the U.S. Navy Seabees from 1957-1960.  He worked as a welder at Reserve Mining in Silver Bay, Minn. and at Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth.  Lyle moved to Lake City in 2014.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, driving trips and visiting with friends.
    He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Liebert of Millis, Ma.; three grandchildren, Autumn, Ross and Juli Liebert of Millis Ma., one brother, Gerald (Sandra) Bodin of Lake City; sister-in-law Kay Bodin of Duluth; nephew, Chad (Amy) of Duluth; niece, Amy (Steve) Jenson of Hermantown; and second wife, Nancy Bodin of Ely. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, son, Frederick Bodin, his brother, Ronald and first wife, Judy (Nelson) Bodin.  
    The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice  Red Wing, Mayo Clinic Health System and St. Crispin for their kindness and care of Lyle.  Burial plans are pending.
