Pearl Seberg Obituary

Pearl Seberg, 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Mayo Clinic Health System - Lake City Care Center.
    She was born March 30, 1931 in Austin, Minn. to Mark and Emelia (Lerum) Hamilton. Pearl graduated from Austin High School in 1949, attended college and went to work for Northwestern Bell in Minneapolis where she met her future husband, Robert. On Sept. 25, 1954 Pearl married Robert Seberg, and shortly after he graduated from dental school they lived out of state while he served in the Army. After Robert was discharged they returned to Lake City where they raised their children and enjoyed the community. Pearl liked to garden, enjoyed traveling, and loved to socialize.  Halloween was always a special day for her and she liked to get dressed up in costume and “scare” her friends and neighbors. Pearl was known for leaving all people she encountered with a smile or a laugh, she loved to spread joy.
    Pearl is survived by her children, Mary Jo (Michael Muth) Seberg of Inver Grove Heights, Michael Seberg of Minneapolis, John Seberg of Phoenix and Elizabeth (Seberg) Promer of Shoreview; three grandsons, Nathan, Jake and Luke Promer; a brother, Dale Hamilton of Faribault, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Seberg; a brother, Laurel Hamilton; and sister, Dorothy Ferguson.
