Ralph Breuer obituary

    Ralph J. Breuer, 88, passed away on April 8, 2021 at the Lake City Care Center.
    Ralph was born on May 1, 1932 in Lake Township, Wabasha County to William & Emma (Peters) Breuer. Ralph married Marlene Nelson on Sept. 21, 1956 in Welch, Minn. Ralph and Marlene farmed in Wabasha County for many years as part of the Breuer Century Farm. He was an avid conservationist and served on the Wabasha County Soil and Water Conservation District and Minnesota SWCD. Ralph supported Ducks Unlimited, Turkey Federation, Pheasants Forever and Whitetail Deer. Ralph served on many boards including president, trustee and elder for the St. John’s Lutheran Church. He was awarded the Outstanding Senior Citizen for Wabasha County in 2013. Ralph was an agent/director for Gilford Mutual Insurance for 52 years, 27 of those as a Manager.
    Ralph is survived by his wife, Marlene; his sons, Randy (Wendy) Breuer, Rick Breuer; son-in-law, Joe Haley; sister-in-law, Shirley Breuer; brother-in-law, Arland (Ramona) Nelson; grandchildren, Kevin (Ashley) Breuer, Chris (Kristen) Breuer, Kelly Breuer, Logan Breuer, Laura Breuer, Emily Haley, Ethan Haley, Ellie Haley; great-grandchildren, Addison Breuer, Kate Breuer, Audrey Breuer, Micah Breuer, Nora Breuer; many nieces and nephews.
    He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Beth Haley; two infant daughters; brother, Russell Breuer.
    A funeral service for Ralph will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lake City. Reverend Paul Otto will be officating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, from  4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson – Peterson Chapel Lake City. Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Lake City. A live stream of the service will be on the Mahn Family Funeral Home Facebook page starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
