Ramona Defrang obituary

We celebrate the beautiful life of our dear mother and sister, Ramona (Jech) Defrang, who passed away on February 17, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her son Adam Michael Ellis; her husband Gene Defrang; parents Herman and Agnes Jech; and siblings: Monica and Stephen.  
Ramona was born on June 3, 1938 in Austin, Minnesota and graduated from Pacelli High School. Ramona brought joy, laughter, and warmth into our lives. Her love for and dedication to family and friends was evident in everything she did. Ramona knew how to lift our spirits.
She is survived by her children Teresa Ellis (Mike), Shirley Matthews (Jeff), and Albert Ellis (Viki). Grandchildren include Michael, Christopher, and Tiffany Matthews, as well as Crystal and William Ellis. Living siblings include Arthur Jech (Merrily) and Florence Skolte (John). A joyful celebration of her life will be held later this year.
