Robert Krueger obit

Robert Krueger, 72, passed away at his home in Lake City on Jan. 12, 2021.
Robert Krueger was born on Sept. 17, 1948 to Richard & Virginia (Schultz) Krueger in Chippewa Township, Wisc. He graduated from Colfax High School in Chippewa Falls and moved to Lake City in 1972. Robert married Vicki Barton on Oct. 5, 1968 in Colfax, Wisc.  Robert worked for Federal-Mogul in the maintenance department for 33 years, retiring in 2001. Robert was a member of the First Lutheran Church here in Lake City. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and driving to the Nelson Cheese Factory and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his son, Mark (Barb) Krueger of Lake City; four grandchildren, Paige and Mya Krueger, Brittney Alsip, Shiloh Lemon; nine great-grandchildren; his brother, Ronald (Peg) Krueger of Colfax, Wisc.; sister-in-law, Cindy (Dale) Sogla of Lake City; his girlfriend, Alice Richardson of Lake City.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vicki; daughter, Michelle Smith; brother, Billy Krueger.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Lake City with Reverend Tim Ehling officiating. A walk-through visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Peterson Chapel of Lake City. Masks and social distancing are required.
