Shirley Zell Obituary
Shirley R. Zell, 86, of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019. She was born April 23, 1933 in Lake City to Erle and Hazel Martin.
Shirley grew up in Lake City and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951. She went on to Winona State Teachers College graduating in 1953. Shirley taught second grade in Hastings. On June 25, 1955 she married Willard Zell in Lake City. Shirley enjoyed spending time reading, gardening, bird watching, and playing cards. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
