Susan Martinson Obituary

    Susan Mary Martinson, 66, of Faribault, Minn., died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 at her home.
    Services were held on Nov. 27.
    She was born Feb. 1, 1952 in Faribault, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Manley) King. Susan graduated from Bethlehem Academy and continued her education at Anoka Co. Technical College. On March 23, 1973 Susan was united in marriage to Linas Norman Martinson in Faribault. She worked as a purchasing agent for District One Hospital for 45 years.
    Survivors include her husband, Norman; children, Joseph (Amanda) Martinson and Christopher (Tiffany Anderson) Martinson; grandchildren, Aidan and Samantha Martinson, Anthony and Abigail Lake, Logan Martinson and Kara and Caitlin Anderson; sister, Barbara (Eugene) Tatge; and special family friends, Abe and Tanya Paquette and Charles Kuether.
    Other survivors are her “sisters” and “brothers” from Norman’s side:  Mary Louise (David) Percival of North Saint Paul; Eugene (Kathee) Martinson of Paynesville, Minn.; Andrea (Robert) Asleson of Duluth; LeFay (Steve) Uttecht of Rochester;; Sharleen (Frank) Klennert of Theilman (and goddaughter Patricia Klennert of Doha, Qatar); Lynne (Duane) Zemke of Paulsbo, Wash.; Donnie (Deb) Martinson of Goodhue; Loren Martinson of Rochester; and any nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary King; grandparents; aunts and uncles.
    We will miss her smiling face at all times but especially on the motorcycle trips we all enjoyed with her.
