Vicki Nardinger obituary
Vicki Joan Nardinger, 77, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital-Rochester, Saint Marys Campus with her family by her side. She was born on August 14, 1946, in Rochester to Paul and Delores (Cunningham) Miller. Vicki grew up in Rochester attending St. Francis School and graduated from Lourdes High School in 1962. On January 9, 1971 she married the love of her life, Clement Nardinger at St. Pius Catholic Church in Rochester.
After marriage the Nardingers lived in the Lake City area. Vicki was employed in the bakery department of Fiesta Foods in Lake City for many years, and worked at the Lake City School Cafeteria, and Kwik Trip.
Vicki’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, and she never missed her grandkids sporting events. She also enjoyed going camping and visiting Treasure Island with her husband Clem, liked going shopping, loved Wong’s Egg Rolls, and loved watching the Minnesota Vikings.
Vicki is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Clement Nardinger of Lake City; three daughters, Jody Breuer of Lake City, Jill (Dennis) Carrell of Red Wing, and Amy (Jeff) Daggett of Lake City; five grandchildren, Colten, Logan, Emily, Laura, and Delaney; three brothers, Mike (Linda) Miller of Mankato, Bernie (Jan) Miller of Huntley, Ill., and Todd (Lisa) Miller of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Owen, and a brother, Tom.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel, with Father Thé Hoang officiating. Friends and family may visit from 12 noon until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
