Wilda Prigge obituary

Wilda Ann Prigge, 95, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Lake City Care Center.
Wilda was born on April 22, 1928 to Clarence and Ruth (Dahle) Erickson in Spring Grove, Minn.
Wilda married Emery Prigge on March 19, 1955, at Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester. She worked as a Dwelle Telephone operator and then as a housekeeper at the Lake City Hospital for 20 years until she retired in 1990. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Wilda enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed a cold beer and few pull-tabs.
Survived by three daughters, Simone (Dennie) Voll and Karen (Jeff) Hubbard, both of Stewartville, and Nancy Jumbeck of Fargo; two sons, Steve Prigge and Jeff (Jeri) Prigge, both of Lake City; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Emery; and her sister, Ruby.
A private service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Anderson - Peterson Chapel in Lake City. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Lake City. Online condolences may be placed at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com.
