Built by locals, sustained by visitors
I don’t know about you, but there’s just something about this time of year in Lake City. The snow is (finally) melting, the lake is waking up, and you can feel the shift—tourism season is right around the corner.
At the Chamber, that means we’re gearing up in a big way.
One thing I love sharing—because not everyone realizes it—is that the Chamber also serves as the Tourism Bureau for Lake City. We work under a contract with the City to manage lodging tax dollars and lead the marketing efforts that bring visitors here.
