DLC: Ice golf outing was chance to measure public preferences
On Feb. 1 Destination Lake City (DLC), the Jewel Golf Course and the Lake City Chamber of Commerce sponsored the second annual Winterfest Golf Event that was held on Lake Pepin.
The event had an excellent turnout of more than 250 participants who enjoyed playing outdoor golf on the ice and snow. The outing was free to play and participants could register for more than 35 donated prizes. There were three winners out of 90 people who entered the “Hole in One” contest.
