Federal cuts will have local effects

At this moment the United States Congress is looking at ways to reduce government spending while at the same time extend tax cuts to the wealthiest 5% of our country.
On the chopping block is the Medicaid program, and possibly Medicare, because they represent a big part of the budget.
If passed, how will this effect our community?
