Food shelf still operating, some items becoming scarce

We receive many calls about whether the food shelf is open. The hours have not changed, but it will be curbside pickup.  People should stay in their cars.  When food comes out, try to help put it in your cars  so our volunteers aren’t exposed.

The Food Shelf is receiving less food from Channel One so clients will need to find ways to stretch this food.  We will try to include recipes for some of the items from Channel One.

Our food shelf operates on a once a month basis.  Calling 2-1-1 is another souce of help for our clients.

Lake City is a very generous community and we are doing our best to purchase items as needed.

Thanks for your continued support.
