Girl scout membership is free through Feb. 28
Lake City Girl Scout Troop 27492 kicked off 2021 working on their Government badge with a special Zoom visit from Mayor Mark Nichols.
The girls learned about local government and even “passed” a motion to allow chickens within city limits.
Troop meetings are being held virtually this year and while meetings may look a bit different, one thing will stay the same: the cookie sale is happening. The cookie sale will be held Feb. 20 through April 2 with online and in-person purchasing options.
