It’s that time of year again. You know, put away the knick knacks and bring out the Christmas treasures. Each year it gets earlier and earlier.

I guess we all have our favorite traditions. Although when I think about it many of mine have changed through the years.

When we were kids Christmas was simple. Things didn’t start until after Thanksgiving.Gifts were simple, money was tight. We were lucky if we got more than a few gifts. They were usually something practical like new shoes or underwear.
