To the editor:

It is with a heavy heart that I say, “goodbye” to you, Lake City.

I have been a full time paramedic with Lake City Ambulance for approximately nine months, and although nine months doesn’t seem like that much time on paper, this job and the people I’ve worked with have meant so much more to me than you could ever know. What people outside of the industry don’t always understand is that we become family to each other.
