Some of my favorite memories are time spent at the play park. We lived just a few blocks away and spent many fun filled days on the swings and rings.
Looking back I always pictured the play park as being larger than it is today. The other day I came across some pictures of my grandparents taken...

First off, after last week’s paper I wish to address the negative feelings on all of the already-approved projects. Let’s quit kicking the sleeping dog and move forward regardless so people are allowed to have their opinions on anything they want.

Last week, dozens of summer residents of trailer homes at the Lake City Marina signed a letter opposing what they claim are plans to remove nine trailers (pictured) that lie between the road leading to Marina Point and the marina’s inner harbor.

The letter to the editor submitted by a group of Marina Point residents last week was misleading and not factual as it related to the plan for Marina Point and Ohuta Park.
I can clarify the information as I am currently on the Council that is addressing the issue of the beach house...
