1860s base ball returns to Old Frontenac

On Saturday, Sept. 22 people are invited to Wakondiota Park in Old Frontenac to witness friendly competition in 1860s base ball between the Crescents Base Ball Club of Red Wing, the Northfield Silver Stars, and St. Croix Base Ball Club of Stillwater. Matches will be held at noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Admission is free to this event but spectators are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
