Baseball opens season with win over Knights

The Lake City Tiger baseball team opened its season at home April 1 as the game was moved from Kenyon-Wanamingo to Lake City due to the field conditions at Kenyon.
Zach Sharpen started on the mound for the Tigers, going 3.33 innings allowing two hits and striking out five batters.  Jake Wohlers pitched two innings allowing three hits and three runs.  Atticus Heise pitched the final one and two-thirds innings picking up the win allowing two hits and one run while striking out one batter.
