Baseball regular season ends, Tigers earn No. 3 seed in playoffs

The Lake City varsity baseball team wrapped up its regular season last week with a demanding stretch of close games. The Tigers earned two critical section victories by sweeping Rochester Lourdes, winning 3–2 on the road and 2–1 in 10 innings at home, but dropped non-section matchups to Kenyon-Wanamingo, Tri-City United, and Mankato Loyola.
