Bowlers fall to Winona, but clinch state berth
The Lake City Tiger varsity bowling moved into tournament play this weekend.
The team traveled to Echo Lanes in Austin on Saturday Nov. 20 for Super Regionals.
Super Regionals sets the stage for those that will go on to compete in the state tournament. Sixteen teams competed for twelve spots.
The Tiger Bowlers started the day with pool play where they took 17 points to win Pool A. The top three teams from pool A and pool B as well as two wild card teams guaranteed their spots at the state tournament.
