Boys golfers battle wind, win Byron Invite

The Lake City High School boys varsity golf team competed at the Byron Invitational on April 28, held at the prestigious Somerby Golf Club. Facing harsh winds and the threat of storms throughout the day, the Tigers posted a team score of 329 to earn a fourth-place finish in a competitive field.

Senior Braxton Berlin continued his strong season, tying for 1st place individually with a 77. His round included birdies on holes 4 and 18, along with 10 pars.
