Boys soccer drops two to tough opponents

The Tiger boys soccer team hosted the Kasson-Mantorville KoMets (K-M) on Tuesday last week.

K-M currently sits alone at the top of the Hiawatha Valley League boys soccer standings. Both teams started the match a little slow, and the KoMets scored the first goal of the game seven minutes into the first half.

The Tigers came out strong in the second half, stepping up the speed and controlling the pace. Pushing forward so aggressively on offense was risky and opened up some space for K-M, who scored another goal late in the game. Final 0-2.
