Boys tennis opens against Lourdes
The Lake City High School boys tennis team squared off against Rochester Lourdes in Lake City April 10, losing 6-1.
A challenging spring season has left sports teams scratching their heads as they continue to battle the weather elements.
The boys tennis program had missed two matches prior to completing their match with Rochester Lourdes last Tuesday.
In singles play, Mitchel Medvec stepped into the No. 1 singles slot and held his own as he was denied 4-6 6-7 (4).
Alex Holmgren at No. 2 singles went down swinging 0-6, 1-6.
