Busy weekend for junior varsity wrestlers as holiday break ends

The Lake City High School junior varsity wrestlers came out of the holiday break with a busy weekend.

On Friday night the crew headed to Stewartville for a tournament geared towards seventh through ninth graders.

The team had a good showing, coming home with multiple top placers. Leading the way was Henry Nelson who claimed a championship, recording falls in all three of his matches. Levi Harvey, Kevin Mota, Mason Kameroff and Connor Ball all recorded second place finishes.
