Eighth grade softball season ends with 10-8 loss
The Lake City Junior High eighth grade softball Tigers finished the season at Goodhue with a back and forth game that found them losing with a score of 10-8. In the final game the Tigers outhit Goodhue 9-6 but errors were costly in the loss.
Though they ended the season 2-11 many of those games were by only one to two runs. The girls had good numbers with 17 of them coming out this season. This was challenging at times with girls splitting games and only getting 2-3 innings per game and at times batting only once per game.
