Lake City’s Tanner Frank (126) lost his opening round match 9-3 at last Friday’s State Wrestling Tournament.  His opponent, Cameron Kowitz of Foley lost his second round match later on Friday which eliminated Frank from further competition.
Frank said, “I enjoyed the experience.  I wish I could have gotten more matches, but Kowitz had a leg attack that I had trouble defending.  He was taller which made it more difficult for me.  I don’t think that because it was my first experience at the state tournament made any difference.  It’s hard to tell.”
