Girl 3rd in Punt, Pass, Kick sections
The NFL Punt, Pass and Kick (PPK) sectional competition was held Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Minnesota State University Football Field in Mankato.
Alexandra Berlin was the only Lake City ribbon or medal winner taking third place in girls age 6-7 with a total score of 48.2.
Other first place winners, with their local competition totals, who advanced to sectionals included:
Boys 6-7, Alex Ratz, 112.5; boys 8-9, Ethen Brunkow, 158.1; boys 10-11, Jonathan Harvey, 204.6; boys 12-13, Carson Matzke, 187.3; and boys 14-15, Josh Matanich, 196.3.
