Girls blow out Pine Island at home

The Lake City Tiger girls basketball team opened the 2022 year hosting Pine Island at home on Jan. 6.

The Panthers won the open tip but the Tigers showed some great defense and the Panthers were unable to get the ball in the basket.

Natalie Bremer got a rebound and found a cutting Paige West to the basket for a quick 2 for the Tigers.

The Panthers tied up the game at 6 apiece.

Mya Shones got a pass on the block and was fouled on the shot, sending her to the line where she converted both shots for the Tigers.
