Girls golf team plays back-to-back home events
The Lake City girls golf team (LC) went up the hill to Mount Frontenac Golf Club for their home opener on April 20. LC fired a 345 to defeat Lourdes 363 in a dual event.
The Tigers were led by medalist, Alayna Atkinson’s 82, Jordyn Dicke 86, Ellie Kohrs 87, and Julia Huettl 90. Other scores included Taylor Davidson 95 and Marlena Brunkow 97.
It was a good home opener for us. Lourdes had played in a few meets already so they had some playing experience on their side. We came close to our team goal of posting four scores below 90.
