Girls overcome slow start to beat Cougars 53-41

On Thursday night the Lake City High School girls basketball team traveled to Zumbrota. Lake City got off to a slow start finding themselves down 10-1.

After connecting on a few first half baskets the Tigers were able to set up their pressure defense. This effort and great transition offense propelled the Tigers to a 21-16 first half advantage. The second half had many similarities to the first. This allowed the Tigers to finish the game with a great 53 - 41 win.
