Huettl claims title in his first Lake City Invitational appearance
Thomas Huettl started his Saturday round with three consecutive birdies and closed his tournament with back-to-back birdies to claim the 44th Lake City Invitational by four shots over Brent Dickerman.
Huettl began his Sunday round with a three-shot lead over Dickerman and four-time champion Alex Wallerich. He increased that lead to four after the first 18 holes of play with a total score of 138. Dickerman remained in second at 142, Matt Hirschi was third at 146 and Wallerich in fourth with a score of 148.
