Jake Davidson wins paintball World Cup as member of Team Philippines
Lake City’s Jake Davidson and his Team Philippines teammates are paintball world champions.
The team competed at the NXL World Cup held Nov. 9-12 in Kissimee, Fla.
Team Philippines earned three podium spots with second place finishes in Seven Man Mounds and Masters X Ball and winning the Five Man Open Mounds event.
Team Philippines just missed the finals for two other events, placing fifth in 10-man and fourth in division 4 - five man.
The World Cup is the end of the 2023 competition season.
