Kjos scores 1,000th point for Jimmies

Lincoln High School alum Marc Kjos has scored his 1,000th point for the University of Jamestown (N.D.) Jimmies men’s basketball team, according to the school.

Kjos hit the milestone in a game against Briar Cliff University on Jan. 11. He scored 14 points and was 4-of-5 on three pointers in the game.

He is the 35th Jimmies player to reach 1,000 career points and the first to do so with with 400 or more assists.

His 419 (and counting) assists are second only to Shane Platz’s 559 on the school’s all-time list.
