Late run propels Tiger boys over Lourdes

A 17-5 run over the final eight minutes propelled top seed Lake City into the section 1AA semifinals for the seventh time in eight years as the Tigers defeated Rochester Lourdes 60-49 last Monday night at the Mayo Civic Center Arena.

March madness has arrived as Lake City got all it could handle from the eighth seed Eagles in a game that featured 12 lead changes and 13 ties.
