Nordic skiers compete at Heartwood in Trego
Lake City Nordic embarked on its annual ski trip to the Heartwood Resort in Trego, Wis. Feb. 1-2. The trip was originally scheduled for two weeks ago, but the winter weather advisory made it prudent to reschedule.
“It’s never easy to reschedule a trip, but the resort was extremely accommodating. In the end, we had almost perfect weather and trail conditions, which would not have been the case over the original dates,” said Lake City Nordic coach Jim Anderson.
