Parker places first as girls wrestling season resumes
The Lake City High School girls wrestling team returned to action this past Saturday competing at the Cannon Falls Invitational.
The top placewinner for Lake City was eighth grader Re’Ale Parker as she won both her matches by pin.
The Tigers had three girls finish in second place, with juniors Madyson Skifton and Ella Weist along with eighth grader Tahli Meyer winning 2 of 3 matches. Skifton’s victories both came by pin, Weist had one pin and a 14-9 decision and Meyer picked up decision wins by the score of 7-2 and 6-1.
