Pitch, Hit, Run to be after school

Lake City Kiwanis Club is hosting for the future baseball and softball ace pitchers, batting champions, and the base steal champions, the Scotts Pitch, Hit and Run (PHR) competition at Kieffer Field, Bluff View Elementary School on Wednesday, April 27, with registration at 3 p.m., commencing at 3:15 p.m.
The competition is open to all boys and girls from the ages of seven to 14 for the local competition.  Each age group winner can proceed onto the sectional championship to be held on Saturday, May 14 at Veseli DRS Baseball Field, 4920 Jackson Avenue, Veseli, Minn.
