By Quinn Sweeney The ninth-ranked Lake City Tigers boys basketball team opened its season on Monday night at Lincoln High School with a 58-47 victory over Cotter behind 26 points from senior Brady Kuchinka. The Tigers began the 2015-16 season with lofty expectations as the team returns 88 percent of its scoring from last year’s 23-4 squad that won the Hiawatha Valley League title. An offense that averaged nearly 65 points per contest last year was unable to fire on all cylinders against a game Ramblers squad that won just five games a year ago.
