Soccer boys back in the win column over Lions
Lake City Tiger boys soccer hosted the Schaeffer Academy Lions Sept. 28 and came away with a 4-3 win.
Lake City was ahead 2-1 at halftime.
Lake City’s goals were contributed by Charlie White, assisted by Luke Meincke; Luke Meincke, assisted by Brendan Koplin; Charlie White, assisted by Jacob Sanders; and Jacob Sanders, assisted by Stachell Ekblad.
Dane Bothun with Schaeffer Academy led the scoring with two goals and the third goal was put away by Ekene Mordi.
Satchell Ekblad had 16 saves as goalkeeper for the Tigers.
