Soccer boys lose 2-0 to Kasson-Mantorville at home

The Lake City High School boys soccer team fell 2-0 to Kasson-tMantorville at home Tuesday.

“Both teams started very slow,” Coach Byron Ramirez said. “Kasson however managed to score a goal and put pressure on Lake City.”

In the second half Lake City picked up speed and controlled the pace, but they couldn’t score an equalizer.

“We took a risk moving players up,” Ramirez said. “That opened space and we conceded another goal to go down 2-0.”

That would be the final score.
