Solid second half gives local Tigers come-from-behind win

Lake City Tigers boys basketball used a 53 point second half after trailing by as many as 20 points to complete a stunning come-from-behind victory over Stewartville 75-65 on Jan. 8.  Lake City trailed 39-22 at halftime before the offense ignited in the second half of play for its highest output in 18 minutes this season.
Lake City got off to a great start, grabbing an early 5-0 lead. Jake Wohlers opened the scoring with a three-pointer but from there Lake City would go just two of 19 from beyond the arc the remainder of the first half.
