Tennis Tigers end big week with a win

The Lake City Tigers boys tennis team concluded a busy week of tennis and notched a win against Baldwin/Woodville, Wis.
On April 12 they traveled to Winona Cotter to face off with the Hiawatha Valley League Ramblers.  They were out-played in the 7-0 loss.
In singles play, Mitch Medvec stepped into the No. 1 spot and exited 0-6, 0-6.  At No. 2, Jacob Miller went out 3-6, 2-6.  Alex Holmgren was denied 0-6, 1-6 at No. 3.  Jack Bremer lost 0-6, 0-6.
The No. 2 doubles tandem of Trevor Duffing and Brandon Ormsby had the brightest showing of the match with a 5-7, 2-6 loss.
